Little Bird has really started to "talk" in the last two weeks. He has been using a lot of gestures for a while now (nodding, head shaking, pointing, blowing bubbles, kissy-sound, slurping etc).
And mimmicking a lot of sounds:
Sheep = baa
Cow = moo
Cat = bre-eow
Horse = neigh
Dog = woo-woo (his is a very big dog sound)
Duck = duck duck
Chicken = buck buck
Mouse = squee
Monkey = ohh-ahh-ahh
Elephant = (trumpets)
Snake = sssssss
Lion = raaa
Frog = ribbap
Bell = bong, bong
Clock = clicks his tongue
Car = brumm (plus he does a blinker sound, and also,"bep,bep,bep" mimmicking the sound our reversing sensors make)
Train = toot-ooot
But in the last two weeks, the words have come out!
He now says: up, down, more, Mum, blue (blueberries), smoo (smoothie), some, taa (please/thank you), kick, bump (with a fist bump). And the latest one, which he has just started today, "Ooops". Which means, "I just tore up a tissue and there is a huge mess."
